Capability 01 · Rail electrification

From first survey to first service.

We design, install, test and commission overhead line equipment for mainline, metro and private rail networks across the UK. In possession, on programme, handed back ready for service.

What we deliver

Self-delivered, end to end.

No stitched-together supply chain. No accountability gaps at discipline boundaries.

Four phases · one schedule

Design. Install. Test. Maintain.

Every electrification scheme we take on is broken down into four phases delivered by one team on one Gantt. No stitched-together supply chain. No accountability gaps at discipline boundaries.

I. Design

Interface clashes are resolved on paper, not on the rail head.

Our in-house designers work from GRIP 1 feasibility through to AFC issue. We interface early with signalling, telecoms, permanent way and civils so that interface clashes are resolved on paper, not on the rail head.

II. Install

Led by engineers who came up through the corridor.

Self-delivered crews plan possessions to the hour and sequence civils and OLE on one Gantt. Contingency is built in so that trains still run at 0458 even when the weather does not cooperate.

III. Test and commission

Audit-ready on the first submission.

Our test engineers run site acceptance to a standard that clears Network Rail or infrastructure manager audit on the first pass. Commissioning packs are issued ready for entry-into-service without chase cycles.

IV. Maintain

Long-term asset stewardship for private networks.

For private networks and depot electrification, we provide planned maintenance, fault response and long-term asset stewardship. Same engineers, extended relationship.
